The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without their top tight end in Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens, as they ruled out Cameron Brate (neck) for Thursday night's game.

Brate, who also missed last week's game against the Carolina Panthers, has 13 catches for 114 yards on the season. His absence could open up some opportunities to buy low in some prop bets in this game.

With Tampa Bay now favored against the Ravens, going with props may be my favorite way to bet this game, as the Buccaneers have lost to the Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers in their last two games.

The Ravens haven't played very well either, so I don't have an interesting in backing a side at the latest odds:

How will the Buccaneers replace Brate in the offense? Here's one player that you can buy low on for Thursday Night Football:

Best Cade Otton Prop Bets vs. Ravens in NFL Week 8

Bucs rookie tight end Cade Otton, a fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, has stepped up in a big way over the last few weeks.

Despite not making a catch in the team's season opener, Otton has outproduced Brate on the season, reeling in 16 catches for 163 yards. He has not scored a touchdown, so I'm going to look at his receiving yards prop for tonight's game with Brate out.

Otton has cleared 34.5 receiving yards in two of his last four games, making 15 catches over that stretch. He's coming off the best game of his NFL career, making four catches for 64 yards.

Now, Otton and the Bucs face a Ravens defense that has allowed the fourth most passing yards in the NFL this season. As long as his target share stays similar to the last four weeks (19 targets over that stretch), Otton should have a good shot at clearing 34.5 yards tonight.
