The Cincinnati Bengals will once again be without star receiver Ja'Marr Chase in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans due to his hip injury.

Chase returned to practice this week, but he isn't quite ready to play at the moment. Rather than risk injuring their star receiver further, the Bengals will hold him out for his huge AFC matchup.

Chase was having a terrific start to the season before going down with the hip injury, but the Bengals have been able to replace him a bit because of the deep receiving corps.

Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and others have stepped up in his absence, and running back Samaje Perine had a three-touchdown game last week.

The Bengals are slight favorites against the AFC-South leading Titans, so this should be a close game on Sunday.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Samaje Perine vs. Titans in Week 12

Chase isn't the only key Bengals player that is out in this game, as running back Joe Mixon (concussion) is also expected to miss this matchup.

Perine stepped up in a big way in Week 11, catching four passes for 52 yards and three scores, and he's cleared this receptions prop twice this season despite playing a backup role.

The Bengals only have so many options they can go to in the passing game on Sunday, so I expect Perine to be a safety blanket for Burrow after his big performance in Week 11.

He's caught 22 of his 26 targets so far this season.
