Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow continues to rehab from a devastating torn ACL and MCL injury suffered last season. While Cincinnati fans are thrilled to see him back under center, there's still concern as to how far along he is in his recovery.

Fansided's Leigh Oleszczak highlighted how Burrow hasn't had the same type of results and movement since entering his rookie season so far in training camp. After reports continued to come out that the former No. 1 overall pick is yet to turn a corner, Burrow addressed the media at Bengals camp this weekend.

"I kind of have to temper my expectations of myself down a little bit so I don't get too frustrated," Burrow told reporters.

"When we get closer to Game 1 and this is still happening, the panic button will start off, but right now there's no panic button... I just need to get the reps in."

Burrow threw for 300 yards in three consecutive weeks (Weeks 2-4), becoming the only rookie quarterback to ever accomplish that feat. Part of the reason was the Bengals' need to come back in games with the defensive struggles. Burrow averaged more than 40 passing attempts in his game, most of which came in the pocket, something that he also addressed with reporters.

WynnBET has Burrow listed at +4000 odds for NFL MVP in Year 2, tied with former league MVP Matt Ryan, and 18-back of the rest of the candidates. Burrow has slightly higher odds to lead the NFL in passing yards at +2500, nine players back and tied with Russell Wilson and Derek Carr.

If healthy, Burrow could put himself in several higher tiers, presenting excellent value at WynnBET, but with the recovery timetable not moving as fast as Burrow himself would like, there's a possibility his odds could further decrease.

Cincinnati starts week 1 of the preseason on the road as six-point underdogs against the Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
