The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had high hopes for veteran receiver Julio Jones this season, especially after he totaled 86 combined rushing and receiving yards in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys.

However, Jones has appeared in just one game since then, Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs, making one catch for seven yards. He's been hampered by a knee injury and is officially a game-time decision for Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Even if Jones plays, it's unclear if he will have a full role in the offense. In Week 1 he played 52 percent of the team's offensive snaps. With Russell Gage out for this matchup, it could open up some touches for Jones if he can give it a go.

For what it's worth, he looked good in practice on Wednesday:

The Buccaneers are favored in this game, but if Jones is ruled out there's a real possibility that the team has just Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and rookie tight end Cade Otton as proven pass catchers healthy.

Best Julio Jones Prop Bets vs. Ravens in NFL Week 8

Jones is truly a game-time call, and many books haven't released any props for him besides an anytime touchdown scorer.

Personally, I'd look to fade Jones even if he plays in this game, as we don't have a real sample size of his role in this offense. Plus, if he's coming into this game banged up, the Bucs may want to limit his snaps to avoid further injury.

Even though Baltimore's pass defense has struggled this season, allowing the fourth most yards in the NFL, Evans and Godwin are the options bettors and fantasy players should target, not Jones.
