Kurtis Rourke left the Bobcats' win over Ball State last week with an apparent knee injury, putting the team's MAC Championship hopes in peril. Rourke was spotted on the sidelines in a brace last Tuesday, but there was some good news during the week that may indicate he is on track to play.
However, the MAC is a tough conference to get information for, and Rourke's impact on the point spread is massive.
Here's the latest on the Bobcats signal caller for Tuesday's matchup against Bowling Green:
Latest Kurtis Rourke Injury Update
Tuesday night update: Justin Feldkamp of BCSNSports is reporting that Rourke is OUT for this game against Bowling Green. As well, Rourke wasn't seen taking snaps in pregame warmups.

While Rourke was spotted on the sidelines with a brace during the Ball State game, head coach Tim Albin indicated that the knee injury may have been less serious than intially feared, leavin the door open for the QB to play on Tuesday against Bowling Green.

Rourke has another visit with the doctor today but is optimistic with the lack of swelling and the fact he is walking with no crutches. Said he'll know more tomorrow@BobcatShowcase
The winner of Tuesday's matchup will go to the MAC Championship to face Toledo, but Rourke is incredibly important to doing that. From our game preview:
