Miami's season has gone off the rails this season, now 4-4 on the season as they have struggled under first year head coach Mario Cristobal and a ton of injuries.
The biggest injury to the roster has been to quarterback Tyler Van Dyke, who left the team's loss to Duke early due to a shoulder injury and missed the Hurricane's game against Virginia last week. Could he return to the field as Miami is set to face their rival Florida State at home this weekend? We have the latest injury update for the signal caller.
Latest Injury Update for Tyler Van Dyke
Saturday Morning Update: Van Dyke will go through warmups before it's determined if he plays or not against Florida State, per ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Three QB game-time decisions to watch today. Kansas State will determine after warm-ups whether Adrian Martinez (leg) or Will Howard starts, per source. Miami's Tyler Van Dyke is a game-time decision for the Hurricanes. Spencer Sanders' status for Oklahoma St. also uncertain.

After taking over as the starting quarterback midway through last season, there was high hopes for Van Dyke and the Hurricanes, but he has regressed heavily this season. In seven starts this season, TVD has completed 64% of his passes with ten touchdowns and four interceptions while passing for 1,737 yards.
The Hurricanes were able to win last week in his absence against a lowly Virginia team, but it wasn't pretty, as the team won 14-12 and needed four overtimes to get it done.
