Jaguars vs. Bengals: Odds, Spread, Over/Under and Prediction for NFL Week 4
By Thomas Snodgrass
Thursday Night Football heads to Cincinnati in Week 4 as the Cincinnati Bengals host the Jacksonville Jaguars at Paul Brown Stadium.
Jacksonville has started out 0-3, but it is in rebuilding mode and experiencing the growing pains that come along with that. The Jags have unsurprisingly lost the turnover battle in all three of their games, losing a combined nine turnovers to one.
The Jaguars lost their last two games at home, and will face a Cincinnati team who won its home opener against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1.
The Bengals are 2-1 and picked up a big AFC North Divisional win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, pushing the Steelers into the division basement at 1-2. It’s early in the season, but Cincinnati’s defense has looked strong, allowing 17 or less points to its opponents in the last two games.

Jaguars vs. Bengals Betting Trends
- Jacksonville has started the season 0-3 against the spread.
- Cincinnati has started the season 2-1 against the spread.
- The over is 5-0-1 in the Bengals last six games as a favorite.
- Both Cincinnati and Jacksonville are 1-2 on the over through Week 3.
Jaguars vs. Bengals Prediction
The Jaguars are going to lose their fourth straight game.
Jacksonville has the 27th-ranked passing defense in the NFL and allowed 291 passing yards to Tyrod Taylor, 328 yards to Teddy Bridgewater and 316 yards to Kyler Murray so far this season. Whatever Joe Burrow’s passing yards prop is set at, he could be a pretty safe pick.
The Jaguars turnover problems will probably not go away overnight. As long as Cincinnati controls its hold on the football, it should win this game pretty easily.
The Bengals will move to 3-1. I would take Cincy at -7.5 on the spread before it gets any higher.
