Two miserable preseason teams square off in their final preseason matchup in Week 3 as the Atlanta Falcons host the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Atlanta has covered the spread just twice in it's last 20 preseason games, while the Jaguars are 2-8 against the spread (ATS) in their last 10.

That being said, there's reason for optimism around both franchises. Rookie quarterback Desmond Ridder looks fantastic and certainly deserves more run with the Falcons starters. Jacksonville is still ridding itself of Urban Meyer's stench, but Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne hope to spearhead a strong rebuilding effort behind new Head Coach Doug Pederson.

Where does that leave the value for bettors? Let's take a peak at the consensus odds before jumping into this Jaguars vs Falcons matchup:

Jaguars vs Falcons Prediction and Pick

There are few surer bets than fading the Atlanta Falcons in the preseason. Now you're telling me we get to fade them as 4-point favorites this week? Sign me all the way up.

Atlanta's secondary got carved up in last week's loss to the New York Jets, and Trevor Lawrence should find similar success this week. Christian Kirk already looks to be the featured wide receiver in the Jaguars' offense, and I anticipate another sterling stat line as Falcons' defenders struggle to contain him.

Simply put, Atlanta has no business being this large of a favorite. The Falcons are as miserable a preseason team as they come, and I'm rushing to WynnBET to lock in the Jaguars +4 before everyone figures out that line is a mistake.

PICK: Jaguars +4 (-110)
