The next chapter in the Jake Paul saga is officially scheduled for this August.

After months of negotiation and questions about who he'll face in the boxing ring next, it's been announced that he'll be taking on Tommy Fury, half-brother of heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.

This is the logical next step in Paul's boxing career. The YouTube star began his career by fighting a fellow YouTuber in AnEsonGib, then followed it up by taking on a professional athlete, in former NBA player Nate Robinson. He next fought MMA fighter Ben Askren, and then defeated former UFC champion, Tyron Woodley, twice in a row, with the latest coming via KO.

Now, for the first time, he'll take on an actual boxer in Tommy Fury. Fury is 8-0 entering the fight, with his latest win coming against Daniel Bocianski in April of this year.

Here are the consensus odds for this anticipated bout, which is scheduled to take place on August 6th at Madison Square Garden.

Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury Prediction

I'll admit that I doubted Jake Paul every step of the way, but this is the first time that I have faith in him winning, despite him facing a boxer. Sure, Tyron Woodley isn't a boxer, but this was a guy who won the UFC Welterweight Championship based on his striking prowess. Not only did Paul beat him once, but he beat him twice -- including knocking him unconscious. The significance of that can't be overstated.

Sure, Fury might have more actual boxing experience, but he hasn't exactly impressed me in his career despite sporting an 8-0 record. His last three wins have come via decision, and he has yet to fight anyone of note in his career.

Hate Paul all you want, but the kid clearly puts the time in and has a ton of natural athletic ability to go with it.

Pick: Jake Paul +105
