The New York Jets host the Jacksonville Jaguars this week from the Meadowlands; entering the start of the week as 2-point favorites at WynnBET as both teams search for a rare win on the season.

Despite surpassing their win total from a season ago back in Week 12, the Jets' season continues to spiral downward. They've lost three consecutive games for the third time this season, and continue to find new ways to pick up losses.

Now, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Jets have placed 15 players on the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday's home game, including their head coach Robert Saleh.

It's starting to feel a little bit like the culmination of Christmas Vacation for Gang Green where Clark Griswold asks his stunned family, "How can (things) get any worse?"

Despite that many Jets players entering the protocol, the line at WynnBET has only moved a point in favor of Jacksonville. New York remains a 1-point favorite at home with the total now set at 41.

The Jets have given up 30-plus points in three consecutive games during this 3-game losing streak. The good news for them is the Jaguars have not scored more than 23 points all season!

Should New York lose to Jacksonville, they'd had the inside track over the Jaguars for a better draft selection. Their win earlier this season over Houston gives the Texans the tiebreaker, and the Detroit Lions also are 2-11-1 on the season.
