The New York Jets upset the Buffalo Bills in Week 9, beating them at home as 10.5-point favorites.

They have a chance to complete the series sweep in Week 14, but they are once again set as big underdogs, and this time they'll need to travel to Buffalo to face the Bills off a mini BYE week.

Buffalo dominated the Patriots on Thursday Night Football last week and they'll be looking to hand the Jets a second straight loss, after New York fell to the Vikings on Sunday.

Let's dive into the odds and betting trends for this game and then I'll give you my best bet.

Jets vs. Bills Odds, Spread, and Total

Jets vs. Bills Betting Trends

  • The UNDER is 5-2 in the Jets' last seven games
  • Jets are 6-14 straight up in their last 20 road games
  • Bills are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games against Jets
  • Jets are 2-14 straight up in their last 16 games against AFC East opponents
  • The UNDER is 8-2 in the Bills' last 10 games
  • Bills are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games played in December

Jets vs. Bills Prediction and Pick

I'm not going to be bold enough to say the Jets are going to pull off a second straight upset against the Bills, but I won't hesitate to bet on them with the 9.5 points. Their defense is too good to ignore, ranking third in opponent yards per play, keeping them to gain just 4.8 yards per snap.

In Week 9, they kept the high-powered Bills offense to only 5.2 yards per play, while gaining 5.1 yards per play themselves.

Don't let last week's loss to the Vikings sway you, the Jets are still a very solid football team. The even outgained the Vikings 5.9 yards per play to 4.3 yards per play, but they stumbled when they got to the red zone, scoring only one touchdown in six trips.

If the Jets can figure out their red zone woes, they can keep their game against the Bills closer than you might think.

I'll take the Jets with the points in Week 14.
