Jets vs. Bills Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for NFL Week 18

The Buffalo Bills find themselves as massive favorites for the second straight game with a 17-point spread against the New York Jets. While they managed to win last week against the Falcons, they failed to cover the 14.5 point closing spread.

This is the second time this season the Bills have been favorites of 14 or more and the sixth time they have been favorites of 10 or more. In games they are favored by double digits, the Bills have disappointed and have a 3-3 ATS record. They are 1-1 ATS in games with a spread of 14 or more.

Meanwhile, the Jets were minutes away from ruining yet another game for Tom Brady until the defense suffered an epic meltdown. With just 30 seconds left in the third quarter, the Jets were up 24-10 over the Bucs. Then, Brady went into full GOAT mode and led Tampa Bay on three straight unanswered scoring drives. The Bucs scored and scored a two-point conversion with 15 seconds left.

Can the Jets bounce back and end the season on a high note for a change? Or, will the Bills live up to the hype and run them out of the arena this weekend? Here are the odds for this Week 18 AFC East battle, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Jets vs. Bills Prediction and Pick

While the Bills are already guaranteed a playoff spot, they are still jockeying with the New England Patriots for the NFC East crown. Several scenarios could play out with likely outcomes. If the Bills win, they win the division having the upper hand in the tiebreaker. If the Bills lose and the Patriots win, New England takes the division.

So, this is a big game for the Bills. Good thing they just have to get past one of the worst teams in the NFL. The Jets have the worst defense in the league in terms of scoring and the seventh-worst offense. They allow 29.8 PPG on defense and average just 18.8 on offense.

While the Bills struggled and failed, to cover last week. And, while Josh Allen had three interceptions and no touchdowns, they still are a Super Bowl contender going up against the Jets.

One thing that I really like from the Bills recently has been the emergence of their running game thanks to Devin Singletary. Singletary logged his third game in a row with at least 10 carries and scampered for 110 yards and two touchdowns. The Buffalo defense is top-notch and should make it hard for the Jets to get anything going on offense. The Bills need this game and I think they bounce back from a close call to blowout the Jets in Week 18.

Pick: Buffalo Bills -17 (-110)
