The New York J-E-T-S are flying high right now. They’ve won three in a row and just knocked off Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay to get to 4-2. As for the Broncos, another week came with another overtime loss, their second in a row.

Denver scored three points in the second half against the Chargers, continuing its trend of losing close games. With a home game and some encouraging play from Russell Wilson, can the Broncos get back on track?

Here are the odds for this week’s matchup.

  • Denver is 2-4 ATS this season 
  • The Jets are 3-0 ATS as a road underdog this year
  • The Broncos are 0-3 ATS as a road favorite 
  • New York is 2-1 SU after a win this season

Jets vs. Broncos Prediction and Pick

I really like the Jets this season. I’ve bet on them in every one of their wins, but I’m still not sure they’re ready to overcome the Broncos’ defense. Denver has been dominant, ranking top 5 in points per game, yards per game, touchdowns per game and in opponent yards per pass. The one place they've been average is against the run, but I think the pass rush is good enough to wreck the Jets’ game plan.  

On the other hand, I can’t trust Denver either. The Broncos are last in offensive points per game, touchdowns per game and 30th in 3rd down conversion percentage. They aren’t a good offense. I don’t want to back the offense or the Jets against Denver’s defense. 

With this in mind, I’ll simply take the UNDER. Denver is 1-5 against the OVER this season, while the Jets are 3-3. I don’t expect New York to light it up and we know that Denver is not the team to expect points from.
