Jets vs. Canucks Prediction and Odds: Winnipeg Keeps Vancouver's Losing Streak Alive
By Thomas Snodgrass
The Winnipeg Jets are currently 9-3-4, and with 22 points in the standings, they sit tied at the top of the Central Division with the Minnesota Wild.
The Jets took a shootout loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday, but still picked up a point in the standings. Left wing Nikolaj Ehlers picked up the only goal for Winnipeg in the loss.
The Vancouver Canucks are mired in a five-game losing streak, and they have now lost six of their last seven games. With just 12 points in the standings, Vancouver sits just one spot above the Seattle Kraken in the basement of the Pacific Division.

Jets vs. Canucks Prediction and Pick
Winnipeg has been playing great hockey of late, and are now in the top-10 in both goals scored and goals allowed. The Jets 21.3 percent on their power play is 11th in the NHL.
Vancouver has failed to string together wins and have fallen down the Western Conference standings. The Canucks are 27th in the NHL in goals scored and goals allowed and their 14.5 percent power play is also 27th in the NHL.
Basically, it would appear that Vancouver is playing like the 27th best team in the NHL. That’s not an enviable place to be.
Eric Comrie is slated to be in net tonight for the Jets, and the backup goalie has played well, producing a 1.98 goals against average and a .926 save percentage. Comrie and the Jets forecheck should be able to halt the Canucks’ offense.
I’m going to back Winnipeg, and with even value on the moneyline and a juicy +210 on the puck line, the Jets can provide a nice return on investment tonight.
Pick: Jets +100 ML | Jets -1.5 (+210)
