Jets vs. Packers Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for NFL Week 6 (Zach Wilson To Keep Jets Flying)
The Green Bay Packers went across the pond and lost to the New York Giants. Now, they’ll come back home and try to knock off the New York Jets.
The Jets ran all over the Miami Dolphins in Week 5, pushing them to 3-2 on the season. With Zach Wilson back under center and Breece Hall beginning to emerge, the Jets have a lot of promise moving forward.
Here are the odds for this week’s matchup.
Jets vs. Packers Spread, Odds and Over/Under
Jets vs. Packers Betting Trends
- New York has covered and hit the OVER in each of its wins
- The Jets are 2-0 ATS as road underdogs this season.
- The OVER has hit in the Packers’ last two games
- The Packers are 1-2 ATS in non-divisional games this season
Jets vs. Packers Prediction and Pick
The Jets got a big win last week, but that was against the Dolphins and their third-string quarterback. Against Aaron Rodgers, things will surely be different. However, it might not be different enough.
Green Bay’s defense, although No. 11 in scoring, is closer to an average defense than an elite one. The Packers are 14th in opponent yards per play and 21st in opponent red zone touchdown scoring. This isn’t a defense that’s stifling, and that gives the Jets a chance in this one.
New York throws the ball with volume, coming in at 2nd in the league. If Wilson can be accurate, he’ll give the Jets enough to move them down the field and at least get field goals on the day.
Green Bay hasn’t been dominant all season long – minus the Bears game – and I’ll trust them to keep that up. So go Gang Green!
