All signs point to Zach Wilson making his return to the field in Week 4 when the New York Jets travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

We could have the least anticipated matchup of former No. 2 overall picks at quarterback of all-time. Zach Wilson vs. Mitch Trubisky might test your love of football if you have this game on the TV Sunday afternoon, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t bet on it.

Jets vs. Steelers Best Bet and Prediction

I’ll be honest with you right from the start. If you don’t know by now, I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and that means I know the sense of panic that is beginning to set in across Pittsburgh. After this game with the Jets, the Steelers face the Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles.

Those teams are a combined 10-2 and you could make a compelling argument that they are the four best teams in football right now. If the Steelers don’t win against New York this week, then they could be staring 1-6 right in the face.

This is a Mike Tomlin spot if I have ever seen one. Tomlin has had 11 days to draw up a defense against a second year quarterback making his first start of the year. Tomlin has never had a losing season, but there have been a few times where that seemed inconceivable after a few weeks.

Tomlin always knows the right strings to pull in a spot like this. In the past the Steelers have been susceptible to let-down spots, but that is when they were good. This team is not good and the offense has serious problems, but I think Pittsburgh will get their first win without TJ Watt since 2017.

If they can’t then Pittsburgh will be in free fall for the first time in my 21 years of life. I might be stubborn and blinded, but I cannot see that happening. Oh and I’m 3-0 picking Steelers games this year.

Pick: Steelers -3 (-118)
