"Joc-tober" couldn't come sooner for the Atlanta Braves.
Up 2-1 in their divisional series with the Milwaukee Brewers, the Braves are making a substantial lineup change for Game 4 of the NLDS this afternoon.
For the first time in this series, Atlanta will trot out Joc Pederson, who has been the Braves' best hitter in the series despite only three at-bats through the first three games.
Pederson has two home runs in those three at-bats, along with four runs batted in. That's more than half of the runs scored by Atlanta (seven) through three games!

Meanwhile, right-hander Charlie Morton gets his name called upon for the second time in the series. Morton will be going on short days' rest in Atlanta's attempt to close out Game 4.
And the Brewers have been informed that Charlie Morton will start for the Braves.

Two different strategies. The Brewers opting against using Corbin Burnes on short rest, Braves opt for Morton after six innings, 85 pitches four days ago in Game 1.
WynnBET has Atlanta as sizable favorites to finish the series today at -155 on the moneyline (bet $155 to win $100) and can be found at value on the run line at -1.5 (+135). The Brewers are +145 underdogs, but are available at +1.5 on the runline at -155.
The total is set at 8, but the over is the overwhelming favorite for now at odds of -120, compared to the under of +100. The Brewers have been shut out by Braves' pitching in their last two games.
Today's #Brewers starter @e_lauer10 went 6-2 with a 2.23 ERA over his last 15 games / 14 starts (80.2ip, 20er). Opponents hit just .188 during this stretch (54-for-288, 27bb, 76k, 6hr). #ClawsUpMKE #Postseason
