Jose Abreu Will Play as White Sox Release Lineup for Game 1 vs. Astros

The Chicago White Sox took it down to the wire ahead of their Game 1 matchup vs the Houston Astros, but they had a reason to do so.
Jose Abreu, the White Sox star first baseman has dealt with flu-like symptoms the past few days, and manager Tony La Russa indicated Thursday that they had two lineups ready: one with Abreu, and one without. It looks like he's going with the one that includes the 34-year old.
La Russa said he has two lineups written up, one with Abreu and one without. "He says he's feeling good, he looks good." Abreu is set to hit, etc. pregame and then the White Sox will decide his availability.

First pitch between Chicago and Houston begins at 3:07 pm local time (CT) today. Right-hander Lance Lynn gets the start for Chicago against fellow right-hander Lance McCullers.
