In response to the NFL schedule dropping on Thursday, WynnBET Sportsbook released a ton of props for us to look over. One that jumped off the page at first glance was Josh Allen’s season passing total prop.

I feel like I said this every year, but I think this season is one where the Buffalo Bills finally make a Super Bowl run. To do so, they will need every bit of skill that Allen possesses to be on display. If last year’s numbers are any indication, the Bills and Allen should be just fine.

Allen finished the 2021-22 season with 4,407 yards passing and 4,544 yards the season before that. In those two seasons, Allen has emerged as one of the most productive players in the league and has 67 passing touchdowns in the last two years combined.

As of now, Allen’s season yards total is sitting at an even 4,000. The prediction is much lower than his previous results and feels pretty beatable. I also think that Allen is still pissed about the Bills’ defense losing a three-point lead with 13 seconds left to go in the AFC Divisional Playoffs. He is not going to want to suffer through a loss like that again and I think is going to come out on absolute fire to start the upcoming year. He’s been a top-six QB in terms of total QBR in each of his last two seasons and I don’t see any reason why the bookmakers are predicting he has a “down” year. Allen will have an added layer of protection with Roger Saffold III taking over at left guard a year after being the most hurried QB in 2021. Jamison Crowder will also chip in as he takes over for Cole Beasley.

I would argue that the Bills got a lot better this offseason, and I see no reason why Allen’s passing total is so low. Don’t wait, bang the over on this bet and watch Allen crush this prop before Week 17.
