The Oklahoma Sooners are coming off their second loss of the season, this one to Villanova on Saturday, 70-66, and now they’ll take on the 4-7 Kansas City Roos who have played as many games as anyone in College Basketball. The Roos had lost three straight, but last game they bounced back with a win. Now, they’ll have a tough test against a Big 12 opponent as underdogs on the road.

Oklahoma needs to get a win tonight because their schedule gets a whole lot harder after this game. Here’s what Vegas thinks about this Tuesday night non-conference matchup.

Kansas City vs. Oklahoma Odds, Spread and Total

Kansas City vs. Oklahoma Prediction and Pick

Oklahoma has been solid this year, but they haven’t been winning by a big margin. Their offense is the worst in the Big 12, they only score 65.8 points a game which is the worst of any Big 12 team. They actually shoot the ball pretty well, 48.4% from the field and 37.8% from three, but they are 360th in the NCAA in possessions per game. That stat can be a big indicator and they’re one of the lowest in the entire sport. The Sooners are 32 in Kenpom, but their offense has to be a concern.

Kansas City is a low-scoring team in their own right, they only manage 65.3 points a game, but that is because of their poor shooting. They only hit on 27.4% of their threes and 39.6% from the field. They’re getting many more possessions than Oklahoma is, but they’re far less efficient with them.

Oklahoma should win this game behind their efficient offense and defense that holds teams under 60 points on average, but I can’t trust them to cover a big spread because of how slow they operate. The under is going to be the play here.

Pick: Under 122.5 (-110)
