Kent State vs. Georgia Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 4
By Reed Wallach
The nation's No. 1 team is off an opening SEC win and looks to wrap up non-conference play in a big way.
The Georgia Bulldogs host MAC foe Kent State on Saturday afternoon as massive favorites. The defending National Champions haven't missed a beat as the offense has taken a step forward while the defense has reloaded after losing a handful of NFL talent.
Stetson Bennett is starting to build his Heisman Trophy candidacy up, and a gaudy stat line against Kent State can do the trick.
Let's dive into the odds and find the best way to bet this one:

Kent State vs. Georgia Betting Trends
- Georgia is 12-16 against the spread (ATS) as favorites of -21 or more under Kirby Smart
- Kent State is 2-6 ATS as an underdog under Sean Lewis
Kent State vs. Georgia Prediction and Pick
What else can we say about Georgia? The team has disposed of all their competition thus far, both good and bad, and laid waste to South Carolina in their SEC opener. The Bulldogs won 48-7 on the road and now get an outmatched foe in Kent State.
The offense is the real development for this Bulldogs offense that is top five in yards per play and is yet to turn the ball over. Bennett is airing the rock out, averaging more than 10 yards per pass attempt this season and should carve up a Kent State defense.
However, I'm not sure if there is enough time in the game to cover the 45-point spread, leading me to the first half spread.
I expect we see Bennett and. co on the field for at least the first 30 minutes and the team gets at least five drives, especially with their propensity to generate explosive plays.
I'll eye the first half spread over the full game spread with SEC play in mind for Kirby Smart and his team with Missouri on deck.
LEAN: Georgia 1H -31
