The No. 25 Kentucky Wildcats head to Cardinal Stadium on Saturday to take on Louisville for the Governer’s Cup.
Kentucky is coming off a tune-up game against New Mexico which ended in a 56-16 blowout. The star of the show, and the season, has been the defense for the Wildcats that is 20th in the nation and allowing just 335.5 yards per game. Their D has helped them to the 8-3 record and they have and a 5-3 mark in the SEC.
Louisville is currently 6-5 and would love to end their season with a win over rival Kentucky. If they have a shot at winning, their QB Malik Cunningham is the key. Cunningham is the real deal and led the Cardinals to a 527 yard seven touchdown day against Duke.

Kentucky vs. Louisville Prediction and Pick
I think that the oddsmakers are on the wrong side of this game having Kentucky as underdogs here. As a team, they average 231.9 yards passing and 191.9 yards rushing along with 31.6 PPG. Their defense is holding teams to under 225 yards total and 22.2 PPG.
The more I compare these two teams, the more similar they look. I think Kentucky has the edge on defense by a large margin and their offenses are right around equal. On paper, the Cardinals offense is a bit better but I don’t think it's good enough to win this game.
I think that Kentucky provides great value here as underdogs on the road to march into Louisville and end their season with a victory.
Pick: Kentucky Wildcats +130 to win
