Will Kevin Durant, James Harden or Kyrie Irving Score More Points in Game 2?

It took some time for them to get going in Game 1, but the Brooklyn Nets and their superstar trio of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving took a 1-0 series lead on the Boston Celtics on Saturday.

Now, the Nets look to extend their series lead and further their case as the NBA Finals favorites on Tuesday night. WynnBET has set player prop predictions for points for each of their Nets’ Big 3, and Durant is leading the way at 28.5.

Kevin Durant: 28.5 | Over (-104)/Under (-116)

James Harden: 22.5 | Over (-115)/Under (-105)

Kyrie Irving: 24.5 | Over (-108)/Under (-115)

So which one of these All-Stars will lead the Nets in scoring in Game 2? When you consider the Nets Big 3 has only played a handful of games with all three players on the floor, it’s hard to determine who will be the focal point of the offense.

In Game 1, Durant took 25 shots to lead the team with Irving (20 shots) not far behind. Harden, who finished with 21 points, took just 13 shots but also dished out eight assists.

The Nets are going to play a lot of one-on-one basketball, as they have three of the league’s best isolation players. If they stick to a similar game plan in Game 2, Durant is the best bet to lead the team in scoring purely off the volume of shots.

Durant scored 32 points despite shooting just 1-for-8 from downtown. He shot 45 percent from 3-point range this season, so he should be in line for some improvement in that department in Game 2.

Irving is the most curious case, as he’s transitioned into a volume scorer role with Harden running the point in Brooklyn. Like the rest of the team, Irving struggled from 3-point range in Game 1 (he was 2-for-8), but he did make 11 of his 20 field goal attempts.

While WynnBET is giving the slight edge to the under for both him and Durant, I like one of those two to lead the team in scoring. Harden may generate more offense with his passing, but he hasn’t looked like the No. 1 option when all three players have shared the floor this season.

Brooklyn would love for all three players to have big games and send them into Game 3 in Boston with a 2-0 series lead.
