The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play tournament is this week's featured event on the PGA Tour, and you should treat it uniquely than you would when betting on a stroke play tournament.

One of the biggest thing you should look at, as I pointed out in my betting preview, is how good a golfer has done in match play throughout his career.

One golfer, who has become an auto-bet for me every single year at this tournament, is Kevin Kisner. He's proved time and time again, both at the WGC as well as the Ryder Cup, that he thrives in match play situations.

WynnBET currently has his odds set at +6600 (bet $100 to profit $6,600) to win this event for the second time in his career.

Kevin Kisner's Strong History in Match Play Events

According to Adamsarson.com, Kevin Kisner's record as a professional golfer in match play events is a staggering 16-6-2, which is a win percentage of 72.72%.

Not only that, but he's been especially good as of late. He's 8-1 in match play in his last nine match play rounds. He had an impressive win against Justin Thomas in last year's edition of the event, beating him 2 and 1. He'll face JT once again this year, as the two are grouped together for the secon straight year.

Kevin Kisner A Good Live Bet at WGC Match Play

As an added cherry on top, and a big reason why Kisner is so good at match play, is that he can close out. Heading into this week's event, Kisner is a perfect 9-0 at this event when winning the match at the turn. He's one of only three players in the field this week who is undefeated when winning through the first nine holes.

One way or another, betting on Kisner this week is a must. You'd be silly not to.
