The road to back-to-back NBA championships just got much more difficult for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Forward Khris Middleton exited their Game 2 114-110 loss to the Chicago Bulls in the second half with an injury to his left knee. Reports confirmed it was an MCL sprain, with Middleton's status left up in the air for the rest of the series.

Now, according to WISN 12 News Sports Director Darlo Melendez, Middleton will not only miss the remainder of their series vs. Chicago, but perhaps the next few series should MIlwaukee continue to advance. Melendez reports that Middleton's knee injury is fairly serious and could cost him anywhere from 3-4 weeks.

Meanwhile, ESPN's Brian Windhorst just confirmed a timetable for the status of Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker, who exited Game 2 of their first round series to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Windhorst reports it's a grade 1 hamstring injury for the Suns star shooting guard, sidelining him for 2-3 weeks.

Between both teams losing two of their key weapons over the past few days, the two major favorites to start the playoffs are no longer in the top spots.

The Suns began the postseason at -130 odds at WynnBET Sportsbook to win the Western Conference and +250 to win the NBA Finals. The Bucks were +200 to win the East, and +500 to win their second straight ring. Now, they've both been passed up by the Golden State Warriors. Steph Curry and company moved up from +900 odds at WynnBET to win the Finals to the favorites at 3/1.

Vegas Makes Major Shift in Bucks vs. Bulls First Round Odds

At the start of the series, the Bucks, along with the Suns had the shortest odds to win their first round series playoff matchup.

Before Game 1, the Bucks were -1200 favorites to defeat their I-94 rivals to the south, with the Bulls +750 underdogs to win the series.

Now, with Chicago stealing home court advantage, the odds are sizably shorter for the Bulls at +220 to win the first round, with the Bucks all the way down to -270.

The Suns were the biggest favorite of the first round; opening at -2500 to knock off the New Orleans Pelicans (+1100). That series is now tied 1-1, with the Suns now at -310, and the Pelicans at +250 to come out of the first round following the injury to Devin Booker.
