Kings vs. Clippers prediction and odds for NBA Summer League (No Keegan No Problem)
By Josh Yourish
The Sacramento Kings have seen enough. After the first two games of summer league action they have shut down Keegan Murray after he posted 29 and 41 points. In their first game without Murray, they took a win, 80-76 over the Hawks. 25-year-old Jordan Ford led the way.
The Los Angeles Clippers are 0-1 after a loss to the Jazz in their first game of the summer. Tonight they’ll look to get into the win column behind Jason Preston and Xavier Moon. Let’s get into the odds for the Kings and the Clipper in Vegas.

Kings vs. Clippers prediction and pick
With Murray out, there is not a ton of top tier talent on either of these rosters. Though that does not mean that this won’t be a good matchup. A lot of times some of the best summer league players are veterans of the G League who can succeed amongst the teenagers and 20 year olds in Vegas. In this matchup, that’s Xavier Moon and Jordan Ford.
Last time out Moon had 26 points to lead the Clippers against Utah and he did it on 6-8 shooting. The 28-year-old could be a knockdown shooter for the Clippers this summer, but needless to say it’ll be very tough for him to shoot 75% the rest of his time in Vegas. What Jordan Ford did against the Hawks is a bit more translatable.
Ford had 20 points on 8-14 shooting and 2-5 from three in 29 minutes last game for the Kings. He has a fairly intriguing backcourt of Keon Ellis and rookie Colby Jones around him with Kessler Edwards in the front court. Edwards has had some NBA success already and that experience is something to lean on. The Kings haven't lost yet, so let’s not bet against them in this one.
Pick: Kings -125
