It's now or never for the Las Vegas Golden Knights, as they are in danger of losing their spot in the playoffs if they don’t turn things around. Currently fourth in the Pacific Division, the Knights are 1-5 in their last six games. Their lone win during that time was their last game, a 5-3 victory over the Panthers. The Knights are two points behind Edmonton and six behind the Kings heading into this Divisional showdown. Despite a better record, the Kings are dealing with their own set of struggles right now. Namely, they have been shut out twice in their last four games.

The Knights can make up some important ground with a win tonight. But, how will they fare? Here are the odds for tonight’s matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Kings vs. Golden Knights Prediction and Pick

I should point out that the struggles these teams are facing have a lot to do with injuries. And I mean a lot of injuries. The Kings have 10 players listed on their injury report today while the Knights have nine. I could spend a whole article with the specifics, but just know there are a lot of key players out on each side.

However, even with their recent issues, both teams are deep in the playoff hunt -- despite a combined 9-11 record in their last 20 games.

The Kings are in a better spot right now thanks to their stellar defense. This is very impressive considering that all the blueline starters from the opening night are injured. The Kings clearly have a ton of defensive depth and it is paying off. If only they could score. The Kings don’t have a single player in the top 50 in points and their leading scorer, Adrian Kempe, has just 26 goals.

Until the Kings can find their stroke on offense, I think it’s best to avoid betting on them.

Pick: Golden Knights -130 to win
