Two teams that are struggling mightily as of late will face off on Monday night when the New York Knicks host the Sacramento Kings

The Kings are 2-8 in their last 10 games and have lost six straight including blowout losses to the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics.

Now, they get a chance to right the ship against a Knicks team that has lost three straight and may be blowing up the roster at this year’s trade deadline.

Let’s check out the odds for this game via WynnBET

Kings vs. Knicks Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Kings +6 (-110)
  • Knicks -6 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Kings: +190
  • Knicks: -230

Total:

  • 214.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Kings vs. Knicks Prediction and Pick

De’Aaron Fox is questionable for this game, so that’s a good sign for the Kings if they want to snap this six-game skid.

However, I don’t think I can trust either of these teams enough to make a pick on the spread. The Kings are just 22-29 ATS this season, and the Knicks are 9-10 ATS as a home favorite.

Yeah, let’s look at the total in this game.

New York and Sacramento play two different styles, as the Knicks are 29th in pace over their last 10 games and 10th in defensive rating while the Kings are seventh in pace and 28th in defensive rating over the same stretch.

Despite that, the Kings have put up three straight games with 104 or fewer points, and I think they play an ugly game with the Knicks tonight.

New York has gone over this totla just once in its last five games and only four times this month. The Knicks play slow, and they also don’t have the greatest offense.

Unless the Kings run them out of the gym, I don’t see this being a high-scoring affair.

Lean: Knicks-Kings UNDER 214.5 (-110)
