While the Sacrament Kings are suffering in the midst of a four-game losing streak, they have a good shot at snapping that streak tonight in Detroit. Sacramento's 5-8 record has them 11th in the Western Conference. Not a great start but this team is better than their current record indicates.

The Detroit Pistons, in contrast, are as bad as their record indicates. Detroit is 3-9 through 12 games but have won two of their last three games and is at least showing signs of life. Can the Pistons continue to play well at home or will they revert back to their losing ways?

Kings vs. Pistons Prediction and Pick

Sacramento is coming off yet another disappointing loss on Friday night after dropping a heartbreaker to the Oklahoma City Thunder 105-103. They were led in defeat by Harrison Barnes who dropped 21-points and Richaun Holmes with 16 points and 15 rebounds.

To say that the Kings are off to a bad start would be an understatement. Friday’s game was there for the taking, but De’Aaron Fox turned the ball over in the worst moment; as Lu Dort stole the ball and scored the game-winning basket with 1.7 seconds left.

Meanwhile, the Pistons stunned the Toronto Raptors 127-121 on Saturday night. The team was led by Jerami Grant with 24 points and Isaiah Stewart with 20. No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham is still getting up to speed, averaging 11.7 points per game and 5.1 rebounds. Despite this, the Pistons have been picking up steam over the last week and could give the Kings a run for their money tonight. While Cunningham isn’t contributing yet, their draft picks from last season are stepping up with both Isaish Stewart and Killian Hayes showing great improvement from last season.

I still think the Kings are a better team but they aren’t playing like one. Until that changes, Ill be fading Sacramento.
