Knicks vs. 76ers Prediction and Odds: Knicks Take Advantage With Joel Embiid Out
By Peter Dewey
UPDATE: Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid reportedly will miss tonight's game against the Knicks.
What follows are updated odds and a prediction for tonight's matchup.
Ricky Rubio dashed the New York Knicks’ chances at a 7-3 start to the season on Sunday night when he scored a career-high 37 points on 8-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc.
Now, the Knicks go on the road in the second game of a back-to-back against the Eastern Conference-leading Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers still don’t have Ben Simmons and they will also be without Joel Embiid (rest) tonight.
New York won the first matchup between these two teams, but let’s dive into the odds at WynnBET for tonight’s contest:

Knicks vs. Sixers Prediction and Pick
The Knicks have been extremely inconsistent this season, beating the Sixers and Milwaukee Bucks but losing games to the Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors.
I wouldn't normally back on them on the second night of a back-to-back, but this is New York's game to lose with Embiid out of the lineup.
New York’s defense has taken a major step back from last season’s top five finish, as the Knicks are 27th in defensive rating through the season’s first 10 games. The Sixers have the NBA’s best offensive rating, but New York did hold the Sixers to just 99 points with Embiid in the lineup.
I think Tom Thibodeau's team finds a way to win on the road.
Pick: Knicks moneyline (+160)
