I feel bad for BetSided's Peter Dewey.

Despite coming off the best NBA betting month of his life, this poor, lifelong Knicks fan has gotten sucked in all year like Al Pacino in The Godfather: Part III; thinking they still may find a way to back into the postseason.

Now that they're officially eliminated, they head to Orlando on the second day of a back-to-back after losing by 18 at home to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and will once again not have Julius Randle available. Obi Toppin, despite a scare on Saturday is not listed on the early injury report.

Meanwhile, the Magic come in having lost five straight games and also have an injury list a mile long.

Whose losing streak comes to end this evening?

Here are the odds for today's bottom-feeder matchup in the Eastern conference over at WynnBET Sportsbook.

Knicks vs. Magic Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Knicks -4.5 (-110)
  • Magic +4.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Knicks -200
  • Magic +165

Total:

  • 216 (OVER -110 | UNDER -110)

Knicks vs. Magic Prediction and Pick

To steal a phrase from BetSided's Reed Wallach, this game has all the makings of a "1-2-3, Cancun" chant in the locker room as I'm not entirely sure who wants to be here.

The season is over for both teams, neither of which have played well down the stretch, and now it's just a matter of getting some young players more minutes and hoping to try to build something positive to take into the offseason.

However, there's been some early movement on the Magic side from its opening consensus number of +5. Perhaps it's a sign that both Cole Anthony and Franz Wagner will be active?

Even if Barrett and Toppin play, I just don't sense the motivation is there for the Knicks, especially coming off a back-to-back after a double digit beatdown at home.

One other fun fact? The Magic are 4-3 straight up at home on Sunday games this year.

Buy in the Disney Sunday Funday magic.
