Knicks vs. Nets Prediction and Odds (Sell High on Knicks Against Kevin Durant, Nets)
By Peter Dewey
The New York Knicks have been playing better as of late, winning three of their last four games, but their fourth-quarter struggles reared their ugly head in Friday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Now, the Knicks are in need of every win possible to make the NBA’s Play-In Tournament, and it will start with a road date against the Brooklyn Nets, who will be without Kyrie Irving, on Sunday.
Brooklyn dominated the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, and Kevin Durant and company have won back-to-back games as they start to get healthy.
Let’s get into the odds for this game via WynnBET:

Knicks vs. Nets Prediction and Pick
The Nets are the worst team in the NBA against the spread at home this season, going 6-24-1. A big reason why is the fact that Irving still can’t play in home games.
The Knicks are .500 against the spread as road underdogs in the 2021-22 season, going 12-12, but they may not have the offense to compete with Durant and the Nets.
New York is just 24th in the NBA in offensive rating this season, but RJ Barrett and Julius Randle have both been playing very well as of late. Still, New York lost Cam Reddish for the season and is still without Derrick Rose and Quentin Grimes.
I know the trend says to fade the Nets, but this just seems like a spot to sell high on the Knicks, even though they’ve played better after losing seven straight. I’ll back Durant to keep the Nets rolling on Sunday.
Lean: Nets -5.5 (-110)
