The New York Knicks come off their most impressive win of the 2021-22 season, outscoring the Miami Heat 38-15 in the fourth quarter on Friday to pull off the upset win.

Tonight, the Knicks hit the road again, taking on the Detroit Pistons who have lost seven of their last 10 games after a strong start post-All-Star break.

Somehow, the Knicks are still in the playoff race in the East, as they sit five games behind the No. 10 seeded Atlanta Hawks with eight games to play.

Let’s get into the odds for this game via WynnBET

Knicks vs. Pistons Prediction and Pick

The Knicks have won back-to-back games without Julius Randle, and although he could be out again tonight, I think New York isn’t getting enough respect against this Pistons team.

The Knicks dismantled the Pistons in both of their previous matchups this season, and New York has quietly been one of the better teams in the league over its last 10 games, ranking 11th in offensive rating, fourth in defensive rating and seventh in net rating.

The Pistons over that stretch? They rank 21st, ninth and 14th in those respective categories.

The resurgence of Immanuel Quickley since the All-Star break has been huge for the Knicks, as the second-year guard is averaging 15.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game while shooting 46.0 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from beyond the arc.

New York has played very well when letting RJ Barrett run the show, and even if Randle can’t go, the Knicks won’t have to face Jerami Grant, who is listed as out for this game.

This is one of my favorite picks of the day, and I’ll lay the points with New York.

Pick: Knicks -4 (-110)
