In the wake of an exciting UFC 263, which saw two title fights and the return of Nate Diaz, the UFC is following it up with a free card this Saturday that is flying under the radar.

The main event promises to be a banger, as Chan Sung Jung, aka the ‘Korean Zombie’, is set to take on Dan Ige in a five-round featherweight bout. The co-main event will be a heavyweight tilt between Aleksei Oleinik and Sergey Spivak.

WynnBET has the main event set as a near coin flip, with Ige a slight -120 favorite and Jung a -110 underdog.

The Korean Zombie has been a long time fan favorite, and for good reason. He has won a performance bonus in seven of his last nine fights in the UFC dating back to 2011. Despite coming off a unanimous decision loss to Brian Ortega, Jung can catapult himself back into contention for the featherweight title with a win over Ige.

Jung has fought for the featherweight title once before, when he lost to Jose Aldo in 2013 when he dislocated his shoulder mid-fight. After losing his chance at a belt, Jung took a four year break from his professional mixed martial arts career to serve his mandatory stint in the South Korean army.

Since returning, Jung has gone 3-2 with wins over Dennis Bermudaz, Renato Moicano, and Frankie Edgar.

Ige is coming into the fight coming off a KO win against Gavin Tucker in March of this year. Having won seven of his nine fights within the UFC, you have to think he’ll be next in line for the title if he can get past the “Korean Zombie”.

The odds for the fight seem to be set correctly, but WynnBET is also offering a prop bet for how long the bout will last. With the over/under set at 4.5 rounds, betting on the under at -120 is a fantastic wager.

In nine UFC fights for Jung, only one has gone to decision. Meanwhile, Ige has nine finishes in his professional MMA record as well.

Expect this main event to be a barn burner, and I’d be shocked if it goes to the judges scorecards.
