Just because the Travelers Championship is this weekend doesn't mean there's not major golf happening. The KPMG Women's PGA Championship takes place at the Congressional Country Club in Washington, DC, as Nelly Korda looks to defend her crown.

I've got you covered with a preview for the event, but there's a few dark horse picks you should keep in mind before placing your wagers at WynnBET Sportsbook for the grand event.

Using consensus odds, let's take a look at my favorite dark horse bets for the KPMG Women's PGA Championship:

KPMG Women's PGA Championship Dark Horse Picks

Jessica Korda (+3000)

The sister of last year's champion, Nelly Korda, has finished in the top-10 in half of her tournaments and finished T5 at the Meijer LPGA Classic in her last start. How cool would it be for sisters to pull off a PGA Championship win in back-to-back years? At the least, it'll help Jessica's bragging rights at the dinner table.

Jessica ranks ninth in rounds in the 60s and 14th in average driving distance. I'm confident she'll be in contention come Sunday and her +3000 number will be a value.

Jennifer Kupcho (+4000)

Kupcho won the Meijer LPGA Classic in her last start with a similar field, so we know she's capable of outperforming stellar competition. She's ninth on Tour in total birdies and fifth in eagles while being excellent at preventing Sub Par holes.

With an ability to rack up birdies and eagles yet avoid bogeys, I'll always be interested in a +4000 number on Kupcho. She's one of the longest and most accurate drivers on tour, and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see her win a second straight tournament.

Jodi Ewart Shadoff (+6600)

Shadoff took third at the ShopRite LPGA Classic and ranks third in GIR percentage. By consistently giving herself birdie looks, she's got the ability to go low in any round and thus, she's a value.

She's struggled with her putter but ranks 19th in driving accuracy. We know that putting is the least consistent club in a golfer's bag, so if she remains steady with her driver and irons then all we need is a good weekend with the flat stick.
