Kraken vs. Canucks Prediction and Odds (Betting on Two Bad Offenses to Have Good a Good Game)
By Matt De Saro
The Vancouver Canucks are looking to bounce back after an embarrassing 7-4 loss at home to the Anaheim Ducks their last time on the ice.
The Canucks have a good chance to get back into the winner's circle when they host the Seattle Kraken in this Pacific Division showdown. The Kraken continues to struggle in their debut season with a 16-31-4 overall record and a terrible 16-35 against the spread.
They are on a three-game losing streak and are 3-7 overall in their last 10 games. Here are the odds for tonight’s Pacific Division showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Kraken vs. Canucks Prediction and Pick
Seattle enters this matchup as the fifth-worst overall defense after allowing 179 total goals in 51 games so far this season. Their offense isn’t much better and ranks 27th in goals per game scored and, with a mark of 16.1 percent, rank 29th on the power play.
Jared McCann leads the team in points but his production has slowed a bit this month with four points in his last seven games.
Vancouver isn’t exactly a powerhouse on offense and has its share of struggles in the scoring department. They rank 26th in goals per game and 18th on the power play. And at -180, they make for a pretty expensive under .500 team. Especially one coming off a 7-4 loss. I think they make for a solid play, just not a solid value.
Therefore, I’m going to turn to the total here. Before I got a chance to write this the odds dropped from six to 5.5. This actually helps us. It would make sense to bet the UNDER with such bad offenses but the Kraken is also the worst defense in the NHL in save percentage and sixth in goal against average.
Lean: UNDER 5.5 goals (-110)
