Kraken vs. Golden Knights Prediction and Odds: Expect Goals to Come in Bunches
The Seattle Kraken get a chance to avenge their NHL opening night loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, as the two Pacific division teams are set to meet for the second time.
Many believed the Golden Knights would run away with the division title, but they’re sitting at just 6-6 through their first 12 games and have looked absolutely abysmal in their own end. They enter tonight’s game coming off a 5-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday night.
Meanwhile, nobody expected the Kraken to be a contender in their first season as a franchise, so it’s not surprising to see them at 4-7-1 and in last place in the Pacific. They were the first team to fall to the Arizona Coyotes in their last game out, losing to them by a final score of 5-4 which served as Arizona’s first win of the season.

Kraken vs. Golden Knights Prediction and Pick
If oddsmakers are going to continue to set the total at 5.5 in games involving the Golden Knights, I’m going to continue to back the OVER. I cashed in on it in their Sunday game against the Red Wings, so I’m going back to the well.
The Golden Knights remain dead last in the NHL in high danger scoring chances against, allowing 14.86 per 60 minutes. To go along with that, they also remain solid offensively, averaging 12.13 high danger scoring chances for. A team that’s built like that, is begging to have the OVER bet in their games.
The Kraken have been solid in their own end, ranking 5th in high danger scoring chances against at 8.72, but they’ve had terrible play between the pipes. They rank dead last in team save percentage at 87.10%.
I’ll gladly take a shot on the OVER 5.5 tonight.
