We're six races into the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series, and Chase Elliott leads the way with 208 points despite not yet securing a win. Even without a victory, he has four top 10s and one top 5 and his consistency has ben rewarded with the top spot in the standings heading into the Toyota Owners 400.

Elliott is leading the way, but the 2021 champion, Kyle Larson, is still the betting favorite to repeat as champion.

Kyle Larson has had a rollercoaster start to the 2022 season. He has a win under his belt, but he has three DNFs which has severely hurt him in the standings. He sits in 16th in the standings heading into this weekend's race.

With that being said, oddsmakers have a lot of faith that he'll be able to climb back up the leaderboard in a hurry. He's still set as the betting favorite to repeat as champion at +375 odds (bet $100 to profit $375).
