Kyler Murray Will Go Over His Passing AND Rushing Yards Props vs. Texans
By Thomas Snodgrass
The Houston Texans are awful.
The Texans have allowed 259.8 passing yards per game, which is 15th in the NFL. That number may be artificially low considering that most teams have taken the lead early against Houston and have churned down the clock with the running game.
The rushing defense for Houston has been abysmal, allowing 141.3 rushing yards per game, good for 31st in the NFL. This defense will have its hands full with the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7.
Kyler Murray is good.
Murray is averaging 290.2 passing yards per game, throwing for a season-high 400 yards against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. Murray has been a solid running quarterback as well in his young career, but is averaging just 19.3 rushing yards per game through the first six weeks. Murray has run for just a season-high of 39 yards against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4. Despite the lower than expected rushing yards totals, Murray still has three touchdowns on the ground.
WynnBET Sportsbook has Murray's passing yards prop at 262.5 yards (Over -110/Under -112) and his rushing yards prop at 23.5 yards (Over: -115/Under: -105).
Murray will hit the over on both.
The only thing standing in Murray’s way of hitting both of these props is his own success. If Murray does too well the Cardinals will get a big lead and then just sit back and relax until the clock runs out.
But maybe Murray can hit the over on both props in the first half? That would be nice.
It has been established that the Houston Texans are bad and Kyler Murray is great. I’m not going to overthink this.
