With the second round of the NBA Playoffs in full swing, it’s time to take a look at the latest odds to be named NBA Finals MVP.

WynnBET has Kevin Durant set as the betting favorite to win the award at +225. Donovan Mitchell (+425), Giannis Antetokounmpo (+600), and Kawhi Leonard (+600) are next on the odds list.

One player on the odds list who is an intriguing bet, is Kyrie Irving at +1400.

The Brooklyn Nets are the odds on favorite to win the NBA Championship at +160, and there’s no doubt that if they do, the NBA Finals MVP will be one of the Nets’ big three players. With Durant set as the +225 favorite and Harden, who is battling an injury, listed at +1000, why not take a shot at the player that’s presenting the best value? Kyrie Irving, at +1400 odds, seems like a fantastic bet.

Irving is averaging 24.83 points per game through the first six games of the playoffs, including a 39-point performance in Game 4 against the Celtics. He’s also averaging 6.16 rebounds and 3.66 assists per game.

With Harden’s injury status in question, Irving could take a leading role in the Nets offense by the time the Nets reach the NBA Finals.

He also has past experience in the NBA Finals, as he played an integral role in the Cleveland Cavaliers 2016 NBA Championship when they came back from down 3-1 in the series to defeat the Golden State Warriors.

The Nets will face the Bucks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Monday night, and WynnBET has the game set as a pick’em.
