Winners of five straight, the 39-30 Toronto Raptors host the struggling 29-40 Los Angeles Lakers tonight at 7:30 p.m. EST.

The Lakers are 2-9 against the spread (ATS) over their last 11 and have won just five times in their last 20 games, while the Raptors have covered the spread in each of their five consecutive wins.

Toronto beat Los Angeles 114-103 on the road Monday and hope for a similar result at home - can they take advantage of the collapsing Lakers or will LeBron and Los Angeles find a way to keep their season alive?

Lakers vs. Raptors Prediction and Pick

I'm going to continue to fade the Lakers until I can't anymore. They're atrocious. Ranking 26th in net rating over its last 15 games, Los Angeles is terrible on both ends of the floor. They've failed to cover the spread in four straight as an underdog and in five straight on the road.

Toronto, on the other hand, is rolling. The Raptors dealt with some injuries and failed to cover in four straight at home, but before that were 13-2 ATS in their past 15 home games. They're healthy now and the Lakers are in deep, deep trouble.

The Raptors have beaten quality teams like the Nuggets and Suns during this five-game winning streak and have had a top-10 offense and defense. Now they get the fortune of playing one of the worst teams in the league.

The ball movement Toronto uses should frustrate Los Angeles' defense and their rangy defenders will make life tough on the Lakers' offense. Give me Toronto to win and cover its sixth straight.

Pick: Raptors -9 (-110)
