I’ve been on the Lamar Jackson for MVP train all season and I’m not hopping off any time soon.

Week 9 in the NFL saw Matthew Stafford, Josh Allen and Dak Prescott all get upset while Kyler Murray and Aaron Rodgers failed to play. Yet, all of those players remained tied or ahead of Lamar in the latest MVP odds at WynnBET Sportsbook.

Latest Odds to Win NFL MVP

  • Tom Brady +350
  • Josh Allen: +400
  • Kyler Murray: +450
  • Matthew Stafford: +700
  • Dak Prescott: +750
  • Lamar Jackson: +900
  • Aaron Rodgers: +900
  • Justin Herbert: +1400
  • Joe Burrow: +4000

Jackson led the Baltimore Ravens to yet another comeback win in Week 10, and despite the fact that Baltimore now allows the most yards per play defensively this season, the Ravens are 6-2 and atop the AFC North.

Baltimore has placed more players on injured reserve this season than any other team (29), and currently has the second-most players on injured reserve at this point in the season (16) behind only the New York Giants (17).

It’s a miracle that this team is playing as good as it is, but when you look at Jackson’s numbers, it’s easy to see that he’s carrying the offense in a way that no other player in the league would be able to.

Through eight games, Jackson has thrown for 2,209 yards, 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions. However, he’s on pace to pass his career-high in rushing yards of 1,206, as he has 600 yards and two scores on the season. Jackson is leading the NFL in yards per carry for the third-consecutive season, while throwing for a career-high 276.1 yards per game and a league-best 12.8 yards per completion.

I can list stats for days, but Jackson is working with far less than any of the other top MVP candidates. He lost his top three running backs prior to the start of the season, and rookie wideout Rashod Bateman missed several games with an injury suffered in camp.

You won’t find Chris Godwin, Cooper Kupp, Davante Adams, Amari Cooper, DeAndre Hopkins or Stefon Diggs in Baltimore.

But what you will find is the league’s most dynamic player closing in on a chance to earn the top seed in the AFC. Lamar Jackson not only has value as an MVP candidate, he is the MVP through the first half of the season. I love him at +900 to earn his second MVP award of his career this season.
