The Baltimore Ravens are now 8-5, have dropped two straight, and nearly lost their starting quarterback for several games after watching him leave in a cart Sunday on the road vs. the Cleveland Browns.
On Monday afternoon, Ravens fans and bettors were greeted with some positive news.
Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that while Lamar suffered an ankle injury, it's not a high-ankle sprain, and that they plan for him to be able to play at home against the Green Bay Packers this Saturday in FOX's Game of the Week at 4:25 pm ET.

Says the Ravens are planning for Lamar to play Sunday.
While WynnBET Sportsbook has not officially released odds for Sunday afternoon's matchup between the Packers and Ravens, Green Bay is likely to be a consensus favorite on the road at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Meanwhile, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is dealing with an injury issue of his own involving a broken toe.
The Ravens' Lead in the AFC North Remains Up For Grabs
After being the odds-on favorite to win the AFC North just a few weeks ago, the Ravens are now tied with the Cleveland Browns at the top of the odds board to win the division at +165. The Cincinnati Bengals, who have also lost two straight trail at +240, followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers at +1200. What's remarkable is that every team in the division is separated by no more than two games, with the last place Steelers still 6-6-1 on the season.
Despite the lead, FanSided NFL insider Matt Lombardo points out that the Ravens' schedule the rest of the way could spell trouble ahead.
The #Ravens, and Lamar Jackson, seem to have dodged a bullet if his injury is just a low-ankle sprain.

AFC North is chaos, but Baltimore has the #NFL’s third-toughest remaining strength if schedule. They need Lamar, and need to help him. Significantly. https://t.co/1Jqe9is8Nk
The Ravens host Green Bay this weekend before traveling to Cincinnati to face the Bengals. They then return home for the final two games of the season against the Rams, as well as the Steelers.
