Lehigh vs. Colgate Prediction and Pick

The under has made a noticeable move for today's afternoon semifinals matchup, as the opening line of 147 has since moved two points and as much as three at several other sportsbooks.

While it's never a good idea to immediately overreact based on a line move, here are a few reasons why the under was already in play.

Both teams have made sizable move-ups in their defense over their last several games. Lehigh's defensive rating has jumped a full 2.3 points down, going from the 30th to 45th percentile in its last five via CBB Analytics. Same thing goes for Colgate, who went from a season-long defensive ranking of 100.9 (60th percentile) to 93.7 (95th percentile) over its last five.

Neither of these two teams play with much pace, as both rank middle to below the pack in team possessions per game.

The Raiders have a very solid offense, ranked 85th in KenPom adjusted offensive efficiency, but look for the defenses to get it done today in the semifinals.

LEAN: UNDER 145 (-110)
