The Chicago Bears, one year after placing the franchise tag on him, are expected to let Allen Robinson walk in free agency. That would leave Darnell Mooney as the No. 1 receiver for the Bears, but would also allow both sides to get a clean start.

Robinson had a terrible 2021 season. He finished with 410 yards and one touchdown, which are the numbers of a rookie set to make a big leap – not a receiver coming off back-to-back consecutive seasons.

There are still plenty of teams that would love to have Robinson on their team, so let’s set the odds of where Robinson will land this offseason.

Odds to Sign Allen Robinson In Free Agency

  • Indianapolis Colts: +125
  • Detroit Lions: +250
  • Washington Commanders: +350

Indianapolis Colts: +125

The Colts seem like the perfect restart destination for Robinson. He would be able to play in his old division, with a solid team around him and could get the most money. The Colts have $34 million dollars in cap space and have room to give a receiver that money.

If they keep Carson Wentz, Robinson will be a great compliment to him and Michael Pittman Jr. Going to Indianapolis would also give Robinson a chance to be on a winning team again, which he hasn’t been on since 2018.

Detroit Lions: +250

After having a bad break up, leaving for a division rival should always be on the table. Robinson would be in another losing situation, but he would get to play the Bears twice a season. Detroit showed last season it could be competitive in a lot of games and Robinson’s presence could help Jared Goff out a lot.

While Robinson may want to go to a winner, never count out the power of revenge.

Washington Commanders: +350

Washington has a new name, but the same old problems. Right now, the quarterback situation is still up in the air, but having two good receivers could help out whoever is going to be the starter in 2022.

With Terry McLaurin on one side and $27 million in cap space, Washington has the system and dollars to make this move. If the Commanders want to use their picks to trade for a quarterback, Robinson would be a great way to infuse the offense with even more life.
