Liberty vs. Ole Miss Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 10
By Matt De Saro
If you dig on high-scoring college football games, this Week 10 matchup between the Liberty Flames and Ole Miss Rebels is right up your alley. Liberty enters this game with a 7-2 record under new head coach Hugh Freeze. This adds to the electricity of this game as Freeze was formerly a coach at Ole Miss. This is the first time these two teams will ever meet. Freeze was very successful at Ole Miss, resigning with a 64-39 record. He was eventually forced out after recruiting violations and other personal issues. It will be interesting to see how Freeze and these teams react to his homecoming.

Liberty vs. Ole Miss Prediction and Pick
With so much offensive firepower on both sides, I expect a hot start to this game. Liberty is a double-digit underdog, but I don’t expect them to lay down and let Ole Miss get this win easily. The Flames should keep it close, at least to start with.
I do see them faltering as the game progresses as I don’t think they have what it takes on defense to hang with Ole Miss for four quarters. Despite their 7-2 record, the Flames don’t regularly play teams as good as the Rebels. Ole Miss has two losses this season, but those losses came to Auburn and Alabama. Both games were also on the road so there is no shame on them.
These two teams match up well if you just look at the stats. But, their strength of schedule is too different to take those rankings to heart. The Flames haven’t faced a defense of this caliber yet and I don’t think they have what it takes to keep this game within ten.
Pick: Ole Miss -10.0 (-110)
