After losing eight consecutive games, the Detroit Lions didn’t take another loss in Week 10. They just didn’t happen to win either.

The Lions tied the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, 16-16. Despite Ben Roethlisberger missing the start due to Covid-19, and Pittsburgh turning the ball over three times, Detroit still failed to capitalize on the mistakes and pick up a win. Quarterback Jared Goff looked completely lost, finishing the game with just 114 passing yards.

The Cleveland Browns took their biggest loss of the season last week, losing to the New England Patriots, 45-7. The running back tandem of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt were absent, leaving D’Ernest Johnson to carry the load in the backfield once again, while Baker Mayfield left early due to injury, making way for Case Keenum to step in. It was not a banner week for the Browns.

Lions vs. Browns Prediction and Pick

Right now, Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski has been trying to manage a boat with a bunch of holes in it. Case Keenum and D’Ernest Johnson have been the life-saving bubble gum plugging up those holes. But, the boat should have fewer holes in Week 11, assuming Mayfield, Chubb, and Hunt take the field.

The Jared Goff experiment has looked awful for Detroit. Goff’s recent performance has him begging to stand on the sideline and hold a clipboard.

Yeah, the Lions tied a decent Steelers team last week, but with Mason Rudolph starting, Pittsburgh’s mistakes and turnovers, and the rain, there was too much working in Detroit’s favor last week. They will prove to people that they are still an awful football team in Week 11.
