A pair of 1-3 teams match up in Foxborough this week, as the Lions come into town. Both teams have dealt with injuries to their core group of offensive players from D’Andre Swift to Mac Jones. However, both offenses looked solid last week, giving their individual players value in the prop market.

The Lions have dazzled this season with their explosiveness, and Bailey Zappe looked better than just a normal rookie. Let’s dive into this game and see where we can get the best value.

Best Prop Bets For Lions vs. Patriots Week 5

  • Jared Goff OVER 245.5 Passing Yards
  • Jamaal Williams OVER 61.5 Rushing Yards
  • T.J. Hockenson to Score a Touchdown

Jared Goff OVER 245.5 Passing Yards

Goff and the Lions have looked great on offense in the first four games of this season. They are the best offense in the league, and I’m going to back Goff to keep that up this week.

He’s cleared this line in his last three games. D’Andre Swift will likely be out, which means the Lions will just have one running back to lean on rather than two. Amon-Ra St. Brown might play in this game too, which makes Goff’s job a lot easier.

Jamaal Williams OVER 61.5 Rushing Yards

Like I said above, D’Andre Swift is probably not going to play this week as he nurses a shoulder injury. That means that Jamaal Williams gets to be RB1 for yet another week.

Williams – with nearly double the touches he was getting in the first two weeks of the season – is averaging 97.5 rushing yards in the last two weeks. He’s been dominant. As long as he’s the top guy and the Lions continue to block, 60 yards feels like a steal.

T.J. Hockenson to Score a Touchdown

Hockenson has caught a touchdown pass in the last two games. With some of the injuries around the offense, he’s been able to get more involved in the red zone offense. He’s seeing 7.5 targets per game, which is great volume. The Lions put up enough points to where everyone on the offense can eat. With his recent luck getting into the end zone, I trust him to do it again.
