Liverpool vs. Real Madrid Prediction and Odds for Champions League Final
By Matt De Saro
After months of play, it all comes down to this.
The Champions League Final kicks off this weekend with Liverpool and Real Madrid set to battle it out for this season’s crown.
Both teams qualified for this game in epic fashion. Read Madrid was trailing in their last game against Manchester City but rallied to score two goals in the 90th and 91st minutes to send the game into extra time. It was one of the most shocking implosions I’ve seen and Real went on to win thanks to a Karim Benzema 95th minute penalty.
Meanwhile, Liverpool squandered a two-goal lead in their semifinal against Villarreal. But in the end, they scored three goals in the second half to take a convincing win.
Here are the odds for the matchup courtesy of WynnBET.

Liverpool vs. Real Madrid Prediction and Pick
I think the most interesting storyline surrounding this game is Liverpool's chances of completing the quadruple. For those unaware, this refers to the possibility for Liverpool to win the Champions League and EPL after winning the FA Cup, as well as the Carabao Cub in the same year. No team has accomplished this in the modern era of the Champions League.
However, the Reds have one major roadblock to overcome if they hope to accomplish this difficult task. There is a strong chance that Thiago Alcantara will not be able to go against Real Madrid. The superstar midfielder was forced out of the semifinal game with an ankle injury. Luckily, tests showed that there is no significant damage. There is a chance he plays, but it appears to be a long shot right now. Liverpool is also hoping that Fabinho Tavares is healthy enough to get back to action.
Real Madrid is listed as significant underdogs in this final despite having a lot going for them. Real Madrid will be well-rested and with more of their roster coming into this game healthy. The Reds also have games in the EPL to deal with this week in the lead-up to this title game. It will be interesting to see how Jurgen Klopp handles this as Liverpool needs to earn points in the Premier League to catch Man City.
If Alcantara can’t go, I think that Real Madrid is a strong bet at these odds. They will be better rested and could shock the soccer world with an upset win here.
