Longwood vs. San Diego Prediction and Odds for Monday, November 28 (Go OVER in San Diego)
By Peter Dewey
The Longwood Lancers have a road matchup with Steve Lavin’s San Diego Toreros on Monday night .
Both teams enter with 4-3 records, and are both primarily veteran-led squads, even though Lavin’s squad is heavily reliant on the transfer portal.
Longwood’s top nine scorers are all juniors or seniors, led by senior guard Isaiah Wilkins. For the Toreros, Jase Townsend, Marcellus Earlington and Eric Williams are all averaging at least 13.0 points per game.
The Toreros have lost back-to-back games, but can they take down a Longwood team that hasn’t had a real test outside of Alabama this season?

Longwood vs. San Diego Prediction and Pick
San Diego is one of the best teams in the country at avoiding turnovers, and the team also shoots 36.0 percent from beyond the arc this season.
The Toreros have just two games where they went underneath this total, with one of them landing on exactly 140 points. As this season progresses, Lavin’s squad is only going to build more chemistry after adding several players in the transfer portal.
The Lancers returned a good amount of the team that finished No. 1 in the Big South last season, but it did lose leading scorer Justin Hill.
Similar to San Diego, Longwood has cleared this total in five of its seven games this season, and it ranks 22nd in the country in turnover percentage.
The bright side to both teams taking care of the ball is that we should see plenty of shots, and not too many wasted possessions, a great recipe for an OVER bet.
With both teams shooting over 36.0 percent from 3, I think this game is at least in the 70s, if not higher, on Monday.
